FMA trainer B737
We are proud to announce the launch of FMA trainer B737 for the iPad.
The autopilot behavior of the B737 is complex, but on the other hand easy to handle if you have the understanding of how it works. We realize that the Flight Mode Annunciation is not always clear during the (student) pilot's training or flying the B737. We think we have a good idea to help you understand it (better).
The FMA trainer B737 contains 4 modules. Two of these modules provide information and explanation of the system and also guidance how to approach using the autopilot.
The other two modules will help you to practice and retain what has been explained.
When you can free play with issues through module 4 you have mastered the autopilot

iTrain B737 and A320
There are two versions of iTrain B737, Next Generation (NG) and the Max (MAX) version and 1 version for the Airbus 320 series.
During the course of our own career as line captains, as instructor and examiner, we ran into the subject of how to prepare the best for daily operations and simulator training.
There is a difference between thinking you will know what you need to do in case of a ‘undesired aircraft state’ and what you actually know and do in such a case. We have seen the latter to be different from what the procedures prescribe.
Not only in the simulator during training, but also recent incidents and accidents have shown this, unfortunately.
Whether preparing for grading, Type Qualification, Skill Test, Proficiency Check, recurrent training, or any other training for that matter, we realize we can always improve our knowledge of the aircraft systems, memory items, non-normal maneuvers and flight patterns.
his knowledge is necessary to perform our jobs at the best possible level. When we are talking about system knowledge, auto pilot behavior, upset recovery or rejected take off for instance the smallest flaw can lead to huge implications.
We therefore made you a tool, for the iPad, iPhone or any Android device, to improve this.
